peace:
In today's
world we are searching for inner peace and we are trying to find it in the
things present outside. These materialistic things can never help us to gain
it. So, you can drive it by meditation
and yoga.
Let me tell you my experience when I was at my corporate job, the competition in my office with colleagues used to be so high that sometimes I felt like quitting this job, gradually I was becoming so fussy and short tempered.

One of my best
friends suggested that I should join
yoga classes at a place where she's been going for 1 year. By listening to her
suggestion, I joined it.
You know what,
in the starting days, it was getting difficult for me to sit straight or to
stop thinking about my dreams and fantasies. The most difficult task for me was
to sit for 20 minutes by keeping my eyes close.
Oh god! That
was such a challenge for me because in our jobs from 9 am to 7 pm, we are
consistently sitting and working in the cubicles by not sitting straight. So
now it was getting tough for me to sit because my back was aching for the first
3 days of meditation and yoga.
But then I made up my mind and sat first on a pile of pillows and when I was getting habitual to sit for a certain period of time I removed them. But I wanted to get liberty from inner tumult, so I decided to do it in any condition.

Although I was
able to see it's effects within 15 days, but they were not everlasting, as it
took months and years to see it's continuing results.
But day by day
I was getting better afterwards.
What meditation does with your brain?
Meditation
develops some areas of your brain like the one which deals with your memory,
balance, fear, stress and anxiety etc.
As adrenaline
hormone in our body is released in the situation of fight or when we are in
anxiety, so by doing meditation it's level is decreased and the level of
another neurotransmitter that is dopamine is increased.
This helps you
to improve your mental and emotional health and stay calm.
How yoga helps to maintain your health?
The most
important health issues going on all over the world are obesity, diabetes,
cancer etc. As the vegetables nowadays are available in the shelves of malls
are packed. Not only Vegetables but food is also packed with preservatives
which gradually deteriorates our health, when we eat it. And, in this hustling
life people prefer to eat this packed
and ready made food.
So yoga,
basically, not only helps you to get physically fit but it also reduces your mental and emotional
load. You can practice it with many benefits for both physical and mental
health.
How yoga gives a boon to your health?
Maintains your blood pressure:
It's been
proven from time to time by scientists , yogic gurus and health experts that
yoga has an intense effect on your body, mind and spirit. Bhujangasana, sukhasana and shavasana helps to control
hypertension. Scientifically, when our blood vessels get constricted then it
leads to increase in blood pressure. So by doing the yogic asanas, your blood
vessels will relax and maintain your blood flow, as it can also reduce various
cardiac problems.

Reduces the risk of obesity:
There must be some people out there like me who don't want to do those cardiac exercises, so yoga is the best way for them to lose weight. Yes! Yoga can also help us to burn calories. Virabhadrasana, trikonasana, sarvangasana, dhanurasana. These asanas act on every part of the body where fat is deposited.

Invigorate your body:
Yoga, generally

When you inhale fresh oxygen, that refreshes your mind. When vital organs of your brain, lungs and heart get fresh oxygen, they utilize it to increase the process of oxygenation of blood and removal of carbon dioxide. So our body gets oxygen rich blood.

Only meditation
and yoga are the two things which can help you to get overall wellness. As it
helps you to maintain spiritual health, mental and emotional health. It reduces
stress and increases concentration power.
Coming back to meditation:
Meditation is something that,
the more you do it, the better you get.
It helps you to organize the nervous system. As now it will start entering into an excellent state of mind. This makes you gain all of your positive energy.
I highly recommend you to meditate in the morning time for 15 minutes to give a start and by practicing it you will be enjoying.
